Welcome to our kindergarten webpage! Kindergarten is a fun and exciting time in a child's life. Through the use of Responsive Classroom, we have created a supportive learning environment where students are valued, contributing member of our classroom community.

We have an energetic, kind, fun loving group of students who are excited about learning! Our classroom is rich with early literacy including; phonemic awareness, phonics, big books, shared reading, writing and literacy centers. One of our favorite activities is acting out our favorite stories!

We are using the Investigations math program. This fabulous program promotes learning through games, inquiry and discussion.

I. Overview and Key Outcomes for the Year

The kindergarten year is an exciting time in a child’s life! The students are so excited to learn more about themselves and each other. Kindergarten is a time for children to explore, ask questions, discover new interests and build confidence. The Kindergarten environment is a place where students are engaged in learning, feel valued, and successful. All students are accepted for who they are, and work to make positive academic and social progress throughout the year.
