http://www.thinkfinity.org/EducatorHome.aspx formerly Marco Polo. Click on the search button to sort by type of resource, grade level, topic and curriculum area. Think of this as your librarian who has sorted out the good stuff to put in the library.

Finding Age and Reading Level Appropriate Content:
http://www.kidsclick.org/ A Kid-friendly search engine that sorts results by reading levels. This is useful for adults looking to find reader friendly material for different students.
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/Dictionary.html 2,481 illustrated dictionary entries. Each word is also used in a meaningful sentence and most contain links to a web resource.
http://42explore.com/ This is a good resource for students doing research. By looking at a topic index, students are led to sites that WILL work and have been sifted to be “readable” by kids.
