BREAKFAST AND HOT LUNCH PROGRAMS
|
Greetings from Mrs. Pulsifer! The Calais Elementary School offers a breakfast and a hot lunch program. These are nutritious and carefully prepared meals are offered every school day. Menus are sent monthly with the school newsletters to allow students and parents to select meals. Families pay for meals in advance; students enter a P.I.N. to drawdown from their accounts for each meal. We thank everyone, in advance, for making sure that accounts are not run with a negative balance (as a non-profit, we do not have funds to cover such withdrawals!) Applications for Free or Reduced meals are sent home at the start of each school year and with registration. If you need an application, please contact the school. |

Lunch Schedule
MORNING SNACK Students in all grades have a mid-morning snack. Beginning in 2008-2009, we will be providing a snack to all students in the school. Look for more information to come soon! Popcorn Poppers Are Needed
Popcorn revenues are used to support students' participation in school activities. Popcorn for snack is made possible thanks to volunteers making it on Fridays. Popping corn takes 20 to 30 minutes and may be done anytime after 9A.M. Christine Klaine coordinates the popcorn poppers for the year. If you would be available to pop corn on one or both of these days, please contact Christine at the school. |
